MS Access Help

I need help with copying a record from one table to another in MS access. My ultimate goal is to have like a button on a form, that runs a macro or whatever that will copy the record from the one table to the other, and delete it from the first table. In essense just move it from one table to another. Any help??? Thanks! :)

The easiest way is to run an append query, this will pull records out of one table and add them to the one you specify. Follow this with a delete query to delete the records from the first table.

(you can then run a macro to run the two queries back to back with a button off a form)

Thanks! I never knew I could alter records with queries! :)
