Mr. Rogers passed away last night from cancer. It actually hurt me cause I really grew up watching him as a kid as preatty much 99.9% of the U.S. and the rest of the world. He will be missed.

Major Loss

I too grew up with Mr. Rogers on PBS.

There are a lot of people living today who are better for the thoughtful messages he taught us. In a world where all too many parents neglect to fill their children with a sense of humble self worth, Mr. Rogers correct proclamation that "All of us have something worthwhile to give to the world" was always profound, kind, and true to all the things that make people special.

We still need his message, and he died too young at only 74.

To Mr. Rogers, thank you. You were a great man…

I was always kidded growing up by being asked if I was related to Mr. Rogers (same last Name). I would have been proud to be related. He is true role model and a teacher. There should be more people like him in this world. He will be missed.

I grew up watching him also. And its great to see he didn't have any scandals ruin his reputation.. Nowadays kids have role models like barney and freaky huge bears  ..Jon
