Yes, the interior is still an econobox (still a Lancer), but interior is hardly the point on this car.

The STi's interior (still an Impreza) is slightly better but not by much.

FYI: Experienced drivers seem to have a general consensus of both cars (STi and EVO VII). STi is reportedly better than EVO VII as a dirt car while the EVO VII is better than STi as a track car.
