There's a big Hip-Hop scene here, MF doom does shows here every once in a while. All those underground guys do; Murs, Slug, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Jaylib, Tech N9ne, Sage Francis, etc. I love this town.

Ha ha...no doubt...commercial hip pop is garbage...the only "commercial" guys I listen to are Nas & the Wu....and they really aren't that commercial. Underground is where it's at. Even if I have to drive 1.5 hours to ATL just to see a decent show.....I posted this yesterday because I was listening to the Mmm Food album and just wondered if anyone on this site listens to him. Yo, you like Cage (Nighthawks)?? Eminem really isn't the poster boy that everyone makes him out to be.

How far are you from Kansas City? There's a pretty good bar/Hip Hop scene there usually.
