Jackson Trial Wrapping Up

Okay, first off, let me say that I don't particularly like Michael Jackson. I don't dislike him either. If one of his songs comes on the radio on my ride into work, I am likely to groan "gawwwd" and change the station. Come to think of it, I haven't had that problem in a long time (probably because he's about as popular as dogshit flavored cheerios these days). But, at least he will never be broke. Anyone with enough business sense to buy up the rights to a ton of Beetles songs has a solid gold "Plan B", when the solid gold LP's stop rolling.

Anyhow, despite my disinterest in his music, I am intensly interested in this molestation trial. Why? Because it's got all the elements of a good movie. Scandal, deception, sex, violence, a villian (which I think depends on your perspective), and a hero (again, depending on your prospective). It's got a cancer survivor who somehow failed to learn anything about morality when confronted with the bitter end pitted against a guy who sleeps in a glass chamber, owns his own chimp named bubbles, and denies having had umpteen plastic surgeries. It's a rolling freakshow, more addictive than sitting in front of the tube with a bag of Cheetos watching Springer. Are those Springer folks real? I don't know, but yes, this Jackson trial is real. And now, it's coming to an end. Soon, it will all be over for the boy who beat cancer with a little help from the Neverland Ranch and the only pop star scarier looking than Marylin Manson.

So, who's gonna win? Your guess is as good as mine. IMO, Jackson is no saint, and probably played a little underage pocket pool in the past. But this kid seems like such a gold digger, peddalling his story all over the loamy soils of Hollywood in search of a star with a tear in his eye and a buck in his pocket. Is there any 13-year-old boy that truly considers Jay Leno his hero? Gee, do ya 'spose he was after something? Since this boy "cried wolf" before, it makes it much more likely in the end that Jackson will get away with whatever he did. If anything.

Whataya think?

Roddimus Prime June-7th-2005 04:52 PM

I think regardless of what happens with this trial there is a special place in hell reserved for michelle jackson.

import_tuner19 June-7th-2005 05:52 PM

oh yeah right next to hitler

As someone who always has an opinion, I have to say I'm really on the fence about Jackson.
Is he a freak? Absolutely. Is he a child molester? I don't know.
There will always be greedy people looking for ways to prey on a celebrity's weakness. I think in this particular case Jackson is probably not guilty. I've not seen or heard any evidence that proves his guilt.
Whether you admire Jackson, or turn away in disgust at the mere mention of his name, every
person deserves a fair trial and although I am not following this case closely at all, it appears that is what he got. I'll be interested to hear what the jury comes up with.

Roddimus Prime June-7th-2005 06:44 PM

before the trial actually started do any of you remember watching what caused the case to be brought before court?

The accuser was in pyschiatric evaluation where he claimed Jackson molested him. This was turned over to the Police who obtained a warrant to search Jackson's neverland ranch. Based on the confessions of the boy police searched Jacksons home and found (among other things) a suitcase full of pornographic materials, sleeping pills, alcohol and "paraphinalia". The suitcase was EXACTLY in the location the boy described. He was also able to name the pill bottles jackson had in his home and what the pills looked like.

If this isn't enough to convince that Jackson is guilty does anyone remember when the last accuser was able to describe to a T jacksons privates?? He'd obviously seen them before.

I understand the family looks like money grubbers but seriously what kind of evidence do you need? a leaky poop-shoot?

import_tuner19 June-7th-2005 07:01 PM

things that make you go buuuugh!!! he is guilty in my book but i dont like him so im biased

"Lemme guess. A head, a shaft, maybe 2 balls, some hair, probably permed & glitter sprinkled all over it?"
As quoted from Dave Chappelle on Chappelle's Show.

Man, that was some funny azz shit!!

Roddimus Prime June-8th-2005 11:40 AM

actually the hair was "pressed-permed" with some glitter on it.... hahahah

Good = Michael Jackson as a black man

Bad = Michael Jackson as a white woman.

JDM-P5 June-8th-2005 01:33 PM

What he said /\ /\ /\ /\

Jackelope June-8th-2005 01:46 PM

Only in America can a poor black boy grow to be a rich white woman.

...I was going to find a picture of an alien to compare him to, but got sick of the Google search. Think about it.... strange, big wide eyes, an unusual forehead, narrow cheek bones, a ghastly nose, rail thin proportions, pale "livin' in a cave" complexion... all that is missing is the bigger than average cranium (which I guess could be there, underneath that head o- hair. Speaking of Michael's hair, anyone want to do a little photoshop for me, and post a pic of what he would look like with a mullet?

slayer4u June-12th-2005 09:49 PM

^^^^^^^^^
I'd have to admit the same thing.

I laughed my ass off at that southpark episode about this. It was so**CHAMONA** funny**WOOOHOO**. LOL

meGrimlock June-13th-2005 02:53 PM

if you wanna see jackson in a mullet, a jerry curl mullet, check out the cover of his "BAD" album. my friends recently got their mom a bday card w/ cartoon pictures of michael jackson throughout the years and inside the card said "see, there are scarier things in this world other than turning a year older"

all kidding aside i used to be a big fan and i still am a big fan of his older music. his newer music not so great. and his current lifestyle not so appealing, but it keeps him in the news. and that also leaves him wide open for any and all shots--but like they say, theres no such thing as bad publicity...unless its about molesting little boys. but hey look at errol flynn, triple statutory rape trial and still managed to make out like a bandit. died on a 70ft. yatch with his 17 year old girlfriend.

Roddimus Prime June-13th-2005 04:23 PM

not guilty on all 10 counts......

there is no justice anymore. First OJ, now this?? Yeahm, make sure to lock up Martha Stewart but let the murderers and child molestors go free....You guys rule.

Die.

juddz June-13th-2005 04:38 PM

....this will not be the last time that Jackson is accused of this sort of crime... afterall, it wasn't the first time. Next time, it might even be more spectacular than this.

'Spose he had some plastic surgeon sew him up a "face you can trust" before the trial? I betcha that made all the difference.

I have to admit, I am disappointed in the outcome. But, all he needed was someone to have reasonable doubt in his accuser, and that family wasn't exactly squeaky clean. Still, I already miss seeing the headlines in the paper tomorrow:
"World's Ugliest Drag Queen Gets 6-10!"
Oh well. I guess you read it first here.

Jackelope June-13th-2005 04:49 PM

Some things are just wrong...

Roddimus Prime June-13th-2005 06:34 PM

I know the accussers aren't 100% innocent but Jesus H Christ, how many people have to call you a molestor before someone PUTS YOUR ASS IN THERAPY....

p.s. I wanted to see Jackson in jail for 20 years and chemically castrated and the mother of the child put in jail for the maximum time for putting her child in the freaks custody for a year.

JDM-P5 June-14th-2005 09:13 AM

Innocent until proven gulity.

Roddimus Prime June-14th-2005 09:41 AM

he's proven to me that he's guilty. I don't need a jury of sympathetic white women to tell me what's what.

HE HAD A SUITCASE FULL OF PORNOGRAPHY AND SEX TOYS IN HIS ROOM THAT CHILDREN COULD IDENTIFY THE CONTENTS AND LOCATION.... end of story for me.

It's one thing to have a playboy...it's another to have little children sleeping in your bed for a year and identifying your porn STASH.

JDM-P5 June-14th-2005 09:55 AM

"Wanna play with my 'glitter puppet'?"
Ha ha....who is the real victim here?

Roddimus Prime June-14th-2005 10:41 AM

MJ has always been guilty in my eyes. I jsut saw this as the one time the charges will stick instead of sliding off.

p.s. remind me to hire Tom Mezzaro (sp?) and then go out killing nuns and orphans cause' he could get me off.

juddz June-14th-2005 11:17 AM

....just wanted to let everybody know that I am now officially on my lunch break. Not to threadjack, but you would be AMAZED how good my homemade cinnamon/raison bread turned out. I tried for eons to make decent bread, and then one day, just like (snaps fingers) I hit upon the right technique. These days, it's loaf after fluffy loaf. And I've moved well beyond my starting point of white breads to the more complex and interesting cheese, fruit, and sweet loaves. The downside to all of this is that I am getting married in about a month, and my fiance doesn't want all of the carbs in the house. So, I guess I am just going to have to "bake in secret" in the darkest hours, with only the chirping crickets to keep me company.

Now, about MJ? Enough about that fruitcake when we can all ponder the wholesome goodness that is my fruitcake.
