It's STILL Heinous (Mitsubishi)

Okay. I saw another 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer driving around yesterday, and I still say that car is an ugly-ass piece.

People who like that thing have got to be kidding.

After considering opinions of others here on the forum, I decided I'd wait till I saw another one before saying anything about it again, but I just can't hide it: That is one ugly car.

Dude! No.

They Can't Be Serious

I mean, common!

This car DOES NOT look good

Considerations of appearance are, of course, largely subjective, but I have a hard time believing there's anyone out there who says, "Yeahhhh... that car looks good...". Unless you're smoking crack!

Anyway, just my opinion! :)

I think its kind of obvious that the street Lancer, the one you and I might see on the road now, was intentionally build after the EVO Version. EVO version is very hot, and looks mad fast. Either that, or I do not where else to put my $.02. I do not find the car hidious, like I would ASStek, for example, but it is tolerable in my book.

the Lancer, to me, looks like a neutered Lancer Evolution VII, which it is :(

not bad, but not very exciting either. Probably SLIGHTLY better looking than the Cibic :)

Tough Call!

I can't decide which I personally think looks more heinous, the new Civic or Lancer. I think maybe the Lancer.

And also, for the record, I wouldn't want to necessarily compare the Lancer to other cars like the Aztek or Buick Rendevous, and didn't mean to imply that. They're in an ugly class all by themselves, and are pretty much untouchable.

GM wins the "Shockingly Ugly Vehicle Design" award. They also win the "Sub-standard, Inferior Engineering Quality", as well as the "The Only Cars We Make That Are Decent Come From Technology We Ripped Off From Our Toyota 'Partnership'" award. They're totally cleaning up!

Way to go, GM!! You guys are my heros! :D

Am I the only one who thinks the New Lancer looks shockingly like a poorly drawn old Infiniti G20?

Sir Nuke May-13th-2002 05:07 PM

I don't particularly care for it either.....HOWEVER....there ARE worse looking cars out there on the road....

azrakain May-13th-2002 05:36 PM

it does have some similarities to the G20.....I used to want one of those with a SR20DET in it.

I am sorry if I have created confusion, but I just love bashing ASStek from time to time. You are totally right about GM, though. The company that never knows what it is going to produce next.
