If you dont know what IRC is, its Internet Relay Chat. Its the grandfather of instant messaging. Basically, download www.mirc.com and you can learn the rest.

Ok, everyone. Maybe we can set a Day and Time that everyone can join the chatroom on IRC. If anyone likes this idea, post your suggestions/comments in this thread.

Tonight (3) people were in the chatroom: Me (mnkyboy), Cactusboy, and skan (different irc nick than on the board)

Logged on last night there were only the 3 of us. I logged off eventually.

I'll idle there, but my ISP naggingly disconnects me after 7 hours of no activity.

Im on, but not much going on...

Hmm...for some reason IRC won't let me connect to the US EFNET server. Keeps saying connection timed out.

Try this server: irc.Qeast.net

With the boom of online use, EFnet has become quite crowded, making connecting somewhat difficult during peak periods.

Try these servers to connect-

irc.prison.net (my personal favorite)
irc.mpls.ca
irc.flamed.net

Your mileage may vary.
