I'm 25 and married, we pay $73 a month for full coverage with a $250 deductible, no other vehicles currently on the policy. When I had my Ford Ranger on the policy as well, it totaled about $115 a month.

tsunami September-14th-2004 05:16 PM

i am 25, mazda3 5 door.... 500 deductible.... 523$ for 6 months.... or... 87 a month... that will change once my ticket gets processed but not to shabby...

Can someone tell me why Males insurance is higher than a females...?? they wreck more than we do 90% of the time down here and its always b/c of cell phones...NOT FAIR!!!

velocity_r3d September-15th-2004 03:36 PM

well, i'm in NEW JERSEY :tear: we all know how the insurance is here...
I'm a 20 yr old female w/ a 3- Never gotten a ticket & only had 1 accident (rear ended) so my record is clean YET geico charges me about $2800 every year... WHICH IS GREAT compared to other quotes i had for $3400 a year OH, and i must say that this is because of a multi-car discount

Oh, and YES, women normally get into more accident BUT they usually are little stupid fender benders cuz they drive "safe" (a.k.a SLOW) ...males typically tend to speed and be a little braver on the road so their accidents are usually worse (yet not as common).
(This doesnt apply to everyone so i hope nobody gets their panties in a bunch)

PanAma_Maz3 September-28th-2004 03:19 AM

I have Gieco, Im not even 20, Full coverage on a Mazda3 with $500 deducts. Mine is 185/month

ImportdRacerRoxy September-28th-2004 07:36 AM

im 16 and im on my parent's insurance with full coverage and it's $50 a month for just being a driver (so i can drive my mom's miata or dad's jeep grand cherrokee) and then my car added $150 to it, so $200 a month for me... luckily i dont pay any of it :D

Rio Grande September-28th-2004 08:08 AM

-03 MP5
-95 Wrangler
-22 Year old male
-Safe driver discount
-Multi-Car discount
-State farm insurance on the MP5(full coverage), 95 4cyl Wrangler(liability), and my home owners.
-Clean record

I pay about $210 a month for the cars only. The MP5 is like $170 and the Jeep is $40. This total does not include the home owners because it's in my escroe(sp?) account.

It will be dropping in less than 2 weeks. That's when I get married

Sir Nuke September-28th-2004 10:12 PM

.....its $133/month on two 02 P5's and my P/U....all full coverage.

of course I am a home owner.....multi car discount, clean driving record....and the OLD FART discount too.

Mp3Angel September-29th-2004 07:30 PM

We've got military insurance, so ours is relatively low... considering all the tickets we've had. Probably gonna go up soon though since I had a ticket back in June. :crying:

Phantom Cruiser September-30th-2004 12:21 PM

I think we pay a little over $200 per month for 4 cars w/full coverage, with the P5 being the most expensive out of the bunch... However, we're old (30+), married, homeowners, no accidents on the record, maybe 1 or 2 speeding tickets though ;) These days the insurance can rate you however they want to, on your record, your credit, the neighborhood you live in, etc. I'm sure these "high rates" are a combination of lots of factors.

hughes412 September-30th-2004 05:57 PM

Well I guess I wont complain, I pay 130 a month w/500 deductable. State farm said its because the parts have to come from japan. They could just be blowing some up my ass.
