i'm going to be a daddy!
 

so after nearly a year and a half of trying and fertility testing I finally knocked-up my wife. it came as quite a surprise after the doctor told us the month before that it was going be nearly impossible for us to conceive. go figure it finally happens the month we weren't actually trying. anyhow she's due february 14 and man am i scared... but yet excited at the same time

Yep, Congratulations! The birth of my daughter was the scariest, but best day of my life!

Remember watch out for the flying poop! :eek: Trust us, you will figure it all out Once the little one is in YOUR hands not your wifes you then realize what you need to do. And if possible have a fathers only baby shower and register and Lowe's and Home Depot. Have beer and babes.... and invite all of us!

well it sounds like everybody around me is either gettin married, or havin a kid. in others words gettin laid while i'm not. peachy. congrats anyway.

Wow, Congrats to you. Ours is having his first Bday next month. It has been frustrating at times.....but so very worth it. Good Luck with everything.

IDK if your wife has done so yet, but tell her to join the forums at www.babycenter.com. They have individual birth clubs by month of babybirth. We of course are in the October 06 board. They have great info, and can answer a lot of questions.

Well I'm still a little scared but mostly about what's going to happen to us financially. Daycare is expensive.

We're having a girl which is what we both wanted. Her name will be Maddison Alyssa or Maddie for short. Mom and baby are both healthy at this point and only 3 months to go. I felt her kick for the first time the other night. That was pretty cool.

Her room is finally finished. We got new carpet, doors, trim, and paint which I did myself except the carpet. I also finished the bathroom yesterday which got new flooring, paint, and trim. I'll see if I can get pictures. They both turned out pretty good.
