i made a engine!
I'm taking an engine rebuilding class, and I snapped some pics. I thought they might be of interest.
It's not a Mazda engine, which is why I posted in off-topic. It is a GM 3800, which is found in many Buicks and Pontiacs. http://www.thinkythings.org/3800/3800.html |
Nice.
What school do you attend? |
Fun isn't it :)
I did the same thing when I did a co-op at a GM engine plant, built a 5.3L V8 from the bottom up. |
We did a 350 LT1 as a project in my class. Wasn't a lot of fun putting it together but when we got it back in the donor Caprice :).

Cool project. However, does it run? ;) Good job.
|
No, it doesn't run. It is strictly a lab engine to be torn apart and rebuilt by students.
This class is through Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland (www.tri-c.edu). They've got a pretty good automotive program. |
