some dumb civic owner outside my local speedshop:no names:
was talkin about these "intake sensor mods" on ebay

"yeah dude my civic is gonna smoke your celica!, im gonna get at least 40hp out of this thing"
fortinatly he lost the auction

now be the smartass that i am i remember that these things are just resistors that do jack crap

so i went to radioshack
purchased a 100kohm pot (like a lil knob that is a variable resistor) put it in a box and sold it to him for 40 bucks

40 fricken bucks! do u bleive it?!?!?!

shizzle man i went out and baught me a nice cheeseburger and fries :-D even got my carwashed and waxed lol

I believe it. The local riceboys always talk about how removing little tiny pieces (read resonator) from their exhausts will give them at least 5hp. I look at them and can't decide if I should cry or laugh.:cool:

now not to knock on canton ohio or anything lol

but even people who work at these shops would even pay it...

wich is why im always on here looking for parts or tech tips
