I got myself a new car buddy
 

I just bought an old english bulldog (currently named Oliver). I've always wanted one and when a local friend was unable to care for him anymore I jumped at the chance to take care of him.

I'll post plenty of pictures later tonight...along with his new name.

You should call him Franky ..

We decided not to re-name him. He responds very well to his name. No need to change it now.

Very strong dog. I'd guess he's about 55-60lbs of solid muscle. He's been on a diet of special bulldog food so he's real lean when compared to other fatter bulldogs.

My other animals already like him and my Husky girl is going nuts to finally have a playmate.

I think we're going to have to have him fixed though as he's air humping everything in my house. It's a shame too because he's a full-blooded old english.

My children. We're up to 2 dogs and 2 cats now....My house is NOT big enough for this.

we had to put mine to sleep on the 3rd. :( it was so freakin hard. I didn't know we were going to be in the room when they did it. It's hard now not having anything to trip over in the house.

Well, life sucks. I had to give the dog back. He was pissing all over the house like crazy trying to mark his territory around my girl dog. Wife put an end to that real quick.

I felt so bad I went out and bought a porsche. Now I've just got to figure out how to go pick it up.

yeah, the dog issue is "solved" for the time being. She says she wants to wait until she's out of school for good (whenever the hell that is) and we'll buy a $1400 bulldog puppy we can train like our husky. She makes a point but I don't see the monetary logic....
