Ha, I'll take one. Those big-block Biscaynes were great sleepers. You could order them with the same motor as the SS, but none of the badging or other SS options.

I'm thinking Kia Spectra with a neon kit.

im sorry but did you say KIA, do you want him to die?

whats a festiva/fastiva....??
i feel dumb for asking that but i have no idea what that is..

Festiva was another of Ford's long running importations of a compact foreign car. Those who are more knowledgable can correct me, but IIRC it was built by Kia. The forerunner to that car was the Fiesta, built in Germany. I had one, it was a sweet car. My understanding is that Ford quit importing it because they were afraid it would steal sales from the Escort (cough"POS"cough). I know they kept building it for a while because I saw a few in different countries in Europe throughout the 80's. I didn't know the Festiva was a sleeper though, or am I missing the sarcasm?

Kia is a new company.....Ford got the Festiva from their european branches.

The Festiva is a superlightweight FWD car that will accept a few choice engine swaps. The most famous is the SHOgun... Taurus SHO Yamaha V6 mounted mid-engine. A bone stock SHOgun whould run 12s quatermiles on crappy 1990 biasply tires and pump gas. Getting 9s quarters out of a shogun is as easy as a 100hp shot of nitrous and drag radials.

Another big swap for the Festiva is a 1.8L BP-T from mazda. Simple bolt-ons will easily make it a 12s car for very cheap.
