Husbands Vs. Wives
 

i have read on some posts that people's wives dislike the fact the car is being modified in some way. (IE: short shifter, CAI, exaust, wheels, etc) well i was just wondering why they would be offended. I can see the senario turning bad if all you people do is mod your car and spend all your time and money on it, but im sure most of you have normal lives and don't do that.

please do not flame me, i am curious to why some people dislike cars being modded (not rice, but simple things like shortshifters)

though i do have a chick friend with a p5 and she has stuffed animals all over the car and fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. THAT i will complain about...screw rice, thats just CHEESE.

well I can speak for MY WIFE.....there are somethings that she just doesn't care about or want......she WANTS a short shifter, but she doesn't want ANYTHING to do with an exhaust system....she wants HER pro nice and quiet.....so HERS will remain that way. she couldn't care less about an intake either...so she won't get one....

needless to say....I will just mod MY car....and leave hers alone!!!

It all depends on what you are in to.

I want to perform mods on my car because I like cars.

She wants to redecorate the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, and extend the back porch.

I don't knock her for it and she doesn't knock me for the car thing.

She says as longs as we can pay our bills, put some in savings and still have money for these things then it's fine.

I knew I married her for a reason. :D

All I can say is my wife wanted the Pro5 over the WRX so I bought it for her. Now she's bitching about the car being slow. Can't ever win these days....

I'd say you just won about $5000 though :)

You're right. I do have more money in the pocket and I'm glad we got the Pro. It doesn't have the power I wanted but it drives so damn good...

now that is just cute, no sarcasm intended.
