How to cheat smog?
 

If i were to say, buy a turbo kit for my car (not carb approved)

How will i get it to pass california smog?

any brilliant suggestions? ( i don't care if it is "technically" illegal)

i was thinking making a "carb exempt" tag to stick on the turbo

Well, I guess it would be good to know a lot off ppl with shops or who have access to inspection stickers, emission stickers, etc.

The thing to do that would be cool, is find a guy that is good with electronics. Then go get an 02 sensor from an auto store. Have him rig it up where it send false signals to the ecu. Works on OBD2 systems only.

Now that would be cool. The only problem is that you have to find someone who is good with electronics, and componets.

face it ... you will go through to much problems in Cali..
Just spend the extra $$$ and get something carb exempt. or just do something else with your money ..


all this is to much trouble
