we're already getting strong winds here at my house and phil is an hour south of me. I bet it's blowing pretty nicely there.

Glad I'm not stationed @ Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS...New Orleans, LA...is getting owned right now...the brunt of it.

Yeah...I have to...lol...until Thursday...I'm going to Miami for some R&R to see my gf and my parents....hit the beach and def. hit up a club or two.

I'm ok where i am. Top of a hill here....the only thing I have to worry about are the tornados that spin off since we're on the east side of the storm (bad side).

Word...I'm with Shrek on that one.

i never knew there was a "bad side" after Cat4 hurricanes :p

Yo....I was watching CNN while in the dining facility here on base and they had to cut off their affiliate coverage provider, because the chic was getting tossed like a sailors' salad...every other word was bleep this bleep that...lol...everyone in the chow hall was cracking up....what some people do to be on TV...lol. Actually, come to think of it, I'd love to do her (job).

I guess nowhere is perfect...hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, oppressive heat and home schooling.
