Well, I did this a long time ago, but I just want to see who can get this one. (Yes, I'm bored, and no, I'm not post whoring!) :p So, this is how it will work, just so there is no confusion. I'll give some clues, and the lyric. Just reply to the post with your numbered answers (artist and song title,) and we'll see who gets the most right.

1. (90's hip hop tune, about a 'freak occurence.') - "Say what you want, but keep your lips sealed..."
2. (Classic Snoop!) - "I got bitches in the living room gettin' it on, and they ain't leaving till six in the morning..."
3. (New hip hop beatz off the xXx soundtrack.) - "There's a knife, and this is the life..."
4. (Only if you like this whitey.) - "I don't know you and no I don't owe you a motherfucking thing..."
5. (An awesome rap jam.) - "If you want it we got it come and get it nigga we wit it, all you gotta do is set it baby..."

Okay, how about a few for the non-homies? No flame - I'm just not a huge rap fan (except for smooth shit like Black Sheep and Tribe Called Quest).

So here we go - and they WILL be a *bit* obscure (to some, anyway):

1. 1990s grunge leaders: "You can't understand the user's mind / But try with your books and degrees / If you let yourself go and open your mind / I'll bet you'll be doin' like me - and it ain't so bad"

2. "Classic" rockers (and on tour NOW!): "Grim-faced and forbidding / Their faces closed tight / An angular mass of New Yorkers / Pacing in rhythm, Race the oncoming night"

3. Totally 80s, but the ORIGINAL Seattle band: "A young man now in a private chair / I see the world through a bitter stare / But my dream is still alive / I'm gonna be the best I can"

To be impressed, I need to see the Artist, Album, and Song. Track numbers and years of release are bonus points ;)
