Got rear ended!
 

Damn, on the way back to Vegas from San Diego, I got rear ended :inthebum: in stop and go construction traffic on I-15 near Barstow, by this pretty and young Vegas chic on the phone.
I felt like ripping out her tongue when she said "OMG I am sorry" :FU2:
Anyway, it could have been worse. I got hit by a higher SUV and thus gotta a dent at the hatch door and only scratches at the bumper. Insurance guy said it should run aroung $1700.
Hopefully, her insurance will cover everything.
This just sucks though, gotta deal with body shops etc. :tool:

That's it, Barstow in the middle of nowhere, a shithole.
It sits smack in the middle between Las Vegas and LA area in the Mojave Desert. Something you probably can care less since you live downunder. :bt:

But guess what, I am too pissed off to bother with her, and besides she would end up asking me to drop off the claim! (the snakes women are) :tit:

Sorry to hear about that, man. It's that time of year when everyone out there on the roads is either rushing TO or FROM the malls and has no patience whatsoever to whach where they're going, how they're driving, whatever. I got hit and run today by a jackass who thought the shoulder would make a good travel lane to bypass standstill traffic. Crazy thing is, he pulled over and got out to look at the cars. When I said I was calling a policeman to come take a report, he got in his car and drove away. Got his plates and make and model, but they said it didn't match!!! It was an out of registration tag. That asshole! This will be the third time I'm replacing my bumper out of my pocket for an accident that I wasn't at fault. To hell with holiday spirit. More like, welcome holiday 'spirits' i.e. bombay, maker's mark.... Anyway, hope you manage to shake the anger and frustration and enjoy the holiday. I'm going to try to do the same!
