Hell yeah these are funny as hell but honestly i think the cars looked cool the paint job on the other hand are questionable, but seriously i would have taken those cars for myself.

Now if only the German's could make the quality of their cars as good as their commercials.

Dude what are you talking about, German cars own most American cars in quality hands down!

I agree, I have some friends who all drive dubs and they are very well built and are very tastefully tuned. I think the aftermarket for those cars are the most tastefull out of everything else I have seen. Their cars have actually tempted me to cross over to the European market!!

And Tracker, I am just going to pretend that u didn't say that.

Check out consumer reports, German cars consistently rank below average as far as reliability, American cars don't do much better :(

The Nissan (Infinity) and Toyota (Lexus) rank the best among 95% of vehicle types.

You have to understand that reliability for modern cars means you never go to a mechanic.

The 5 and 7 series bmw's rank that they have bad reliability but the only thing that goes wrong is stupid shit like the clock. Then they have rattle problems like the rear floor pannel will rattle if you dont put it back right.
The owners take the car to the dealer to get it fixed so it makes the car look like a pos becauce the dealer has to look at it.

On the other hand getting into the pro means rattles squeeks and shakes all over the place. I also had to replace the stock radio which went out on me. However the pro is consiterd reliable just becuase no one cares enough to take it back to the dealer.

When i said the cars look good i mean the bodykits on the car, all the other crap they had on there should be burned, and if that was real and i was able to take them i know that they most likely did have a motor in them so that means that i could put anything i want in there like a twin turbo R34 Skyline engine in the focus

Just fyi, I went and drove the new GTi at the dealership yesterday. Kendras beetle was in for service ($67 for an oilchange) and they had several on the showroom.

My take on the new GTi:

1. interior---setas were HIDEOUS...they were like a Scottsmans kilt...horrible and plaid and looked plain nasty. The dash and console was gorgeous but felt very flimsy when you pressed switches

2. driveability -- pretty quick (for what it is)....200bhp 207tq....felt identical to the last gti i drove which was only 180bhp. Also, the DSG tranny prevented any sort of quick take off or "drag launch". You cannot powerbrake it to build boost and it doesn't react fast enough to make getting off the line fast. It shifts extremely fast and will hardly feel like it's ever let off the gas.. so, for take offs, no.....for rolling starts, yes. It handled like a boat...lots of body roll and a soft brake pedal.

3. price -- msrp was $25K, base sticker without the options packages or DSG was about $21K. If you're looking for a base GTi $21K would be a great price if they'd swap out the seats for regular ones. $25K for the dsg model sucks...

I read where the QX56 has the most warranty claims of any new model. I think this is directly related (sadly) to it being the first U.S. made Infinity. As far as I know it is also the first "premium" brand vehicle built on American soil.

Sure VW might, after all they're built in Mexico for the most part anymore. Just don't generalize about German cars being crap, cuz that's like saying American cars are crap cuz Ford sucks.

all I'm saying is that the only car consumer reports (German at least) rated as having average reliability or better is the Audi A4, all others were worse than average. Sure some cars will really stink and some will run with no problems...I personally will stay away from German cars for that reason. Yes, every maker will have some car that is worse than average, (I.e. Infiniti SUV above), but when a majority of the cars are expected to have worse than average reliability, it makes you wonder.
