If everything over in the east would just finish up, become peaceful, we could get back to lower prices. Prices here in Florida have gone from $1.09 a gallon to $1.29 or higher in just the past 2 weeks. I usually pay $10.00 - $11.00 to fill my tank, yesterday cost me $15.50!!! :wtf:

KrisA March-20th-2002 08:35 AM

69.9 here in Regina

High gas prices are good though... means the economy is picking up, more money to the gov't to support income tax cuts (if that ever happens  ), plus it hurts SUV drivers alot more than us!

i put gas yesterday.....
$1.58 for gallon.............that sucks.....................

craigrrrp March-20th-2002 11:15 AM

Yes they sure do, here in mississauga, its like 67 - 69 cents a liter.

Just be glad we don't have street driven cars with high boost....my friends type R is pushing 24 lbs of boost, and he needs to put 118 octane in it. It isn't daily driven, but does go out prolly once a week. But still, it cost him $40-$50 to fill it up once a week....haha...not my idea of practical, but he can afford it.

Not that any of you care about a 518hp Type R, but still...we can't really complain about high prices, $4.65 a gallon really sucks

:wtf:

His motor is completely built, sleeved, 8.5:1, AEM plug & play, has 8 fuel injectors, two fuelpumps, a HUGE Garrett Turbo, plus a 50 shot (for turbo lag), it RUNS 11.2@119 mph....and is street driven...I love rollin with him cause we can smoke any car on the road...i love it when he messes with vette's and porsche's, and starts smoking the tires at 70 in 5th gear (just by mashin the throttle)...

As for the race fuel, he gets it at Paul's Race Fuel out here in Cincinnati, fortunately it is 5 min from his office.

:wee:

Thats is what I do after I get out ofhis car :-D

Damn, you guys got it nice out there. I payed $1.72 a gallon the other day at Mobil. I think it's up to about $1.77/gal right now. Mind it be 91 octane. Its about $1.45-1.55 for regular 87.

ie, if you are driving down the street and realize that all the mofo gas stations have raised their prices to 89.4 c/L you will still be able to get it at the price it was BEFORE the big jack.......go to huskey...and only til 7am. woohoo!

plus, most of the time they're usually the cheapest around anyway...and oh...SUNOCO is proven to have the best GAS. 94 octane, baby!

can i get a HOLLA for SAUGA!

401 and Dixie road you say.....
I gotta go check that out.

thanks man.
