A funny thing happened to me on the way home
I always wanted to say that...
I was coming hope from work, just like every day, but today was a little different. I turned off of valley onto oxmoor/Palasades thinking of what I was going to do for diner. I merged into the left turn lane like always, but today I heard the faint sound of a police siren coming ever closer. I didn't think anything of it. A white grand cherokee sped past me. followed closely by a police car. At first I thought it was just trying to get out of the way, but only after the grand cherokee barreled through the intersection did I realize. I was just audience to a police chase. I've been tuning into the local news to see if there was anything on it. |
You wont see much about them on the news. They happen around here waaaaay more than you know. The department I work for gets in 2-3 a month.
95% of all chases end within 10 minutes a rarely leave the city they start on. The ones you see on the news are the ones that go for miles and go through 3-4 jurisdictions. |
I have several L.E.O. friends and so far none of them will chase me in the MS6 without actually arresting after it's over.
Shame. |
