In AK you have to have one. But I know a few people how haven't had them on for years and never got a ticket. I do always hear about people at ricer hangouts getting tickets when cops came and told them to leave.

When I get my new bumper it sure as hell isn't going to be ruined by a front plate. But for now I leave it on.

In BC, you need them but, they are 'beautiful'. Did anyone in Alberta take my personalized plate number yet? Hope not.
