Excuse me, did you lose a......

Ladder?????

My god this thing made a mess. Someone lost an aluminum ladder in the middle lane of a three lane highway. By the time I got to it (10 minutes of going 5mph) the thing look a little mangled. The odd thing was, there were no cars pulled off to the side of the road. The person that lost it, must have kept going, along with anyone that ran it over.

A guy I know once saw a MATTRESS on the side of the highway. He decided to retrieve it, because it was still wrapped in plastic and looked brand new.

He pulled over to the side, backed up in the shoulder lane, and got out to take a look. Found the mattress STILL ATTACHED TO A ROOFRACK!! Seems the vehicle that was transporting it lost not only the mattress, but the rack it was tied to.

Secure your cargo, people - and don't trust roofracks to hold items that seriously catch the wind!

Here in Atlanta, it's not all that uncommon to hear about a ladder or matress laying in the road. It seems to happen at least once a week. Just yesterday, a guy lost his entire entertainment center and TV as well as several other items in the middle of the interstate.
