Hong Kong Fever Feb 9, 2003 05:37 PM

T&T loves to do that crap...I think it's pure garbage. They jack the prices up on those models too...adding side skirts, etc. When I was helping my friend buy a car we were talking to a sales guy at T&T and he was showing us a Civic they had "souped" up. He tried telling me that the short ram intake (looked like a Ractive intake) they installed would add 20 HP. I said, "oh yeah....." and we left there in a hurry.

T+T has been do'in that for years. Hence the area that it is in: NE. They put on different badges so that people like you come into there showroom and find out what an 'SE-R' is all about. That way, 'maybe' you'll buy something you like when you are there. It's a marketing ploy. Nothing more, nothing less.:o

dude, the area of the city's got jack shit to do with it. kramer has the "k-spec" package that they put on P5s. a bunch of crap at like 200% mark-up.

car dealers are jack-offs. don't pin it on the area of the city. that's got a sinister undertone.

haha that's pretty funny. . . there's this guy a couple houses down from me who has an audi with oh no and audi GT-R haha. this guy has the skyline GT-R emblem on the back. . . makes me laugh every time i see it

Pro_fan Feb 10, 2003 03:35 PM

I've seen a couple of P5's around Calgary w/ the GT-R designation. Ugh!

I was browsing around Kragen Auto Parts yesterday when I came across "GTR","Type R" ,"Si","1.8T" and about another 6 or 7 emblems. They looked OEM. What a joke. I didn't even look to see how much they cost.
Gawd, I'm glad I drive a Mazda! Not one RX-7 or MP3 emblem. (knock on wood)
