Donations Anyone?

Well, as most of you know, I am a college student going to Penn State Harrisburg. I bought my books last Monday and then went food shopping cause I live in an appartment on campus with a kitchen.. so I cook. But anyway, I only have $56 in my bank account to live off until next Friday when I get paid. Sorry about the random thread, but you know... it sucks having no money...

sell some old junk that you don't need or use anymore on eBay. i've made about $100 on selling old cd's so far and i've got a lot more to sell.

Good choice!
Remimber, the more money you barrow now the more you have to pay back later.
I never could understand shy people would pawn the stuff just to have some money until payday. In the end you'll still be short after you pay it back.
But if you want you could pawn you body kit to me!

... I fixed cars here and there for extra cash in college. I also learned a few tricks that kept me happy:
1) Dollar well drinks before nine (or was it ten)?
2) Buy groceries at the discount place across town with the dented cans
3) Become a master at making ramen noodles. Throw some onion in, a little cheese, etc.
4) If you smoke cigarettes, give 'em up. There is no better way to become poor than dropping five bucks a day on those things. The ladies will like you more if you don't do it, too.
5) Buy batteries, glassware, laundry soap, and other items at the dollar store (why spend 5 bucks on AA cells, when your remote doesn't know the difference between Duracell and some cheap Chinese cells)?
6) Ditch the personal cell phone, if you have one
7) Raise the insurance deductible on your car
8) Sell back text books that you'll never use again, buy them used whenever possible
9) Throw a kegger and charge a small amount per plastic cup
10) When you need clothes, get them at the thrift store. It's stupid to shop at the mall when you don't have a steady income.
And, when you get through it, you will get a good job and probably have enough money to afford the finer things in life - a house, a great honeymoon when you get married, maybe even another Mazda. If it's any consolation, I've been there, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

yeah, "Kargo-Fogey" just sounded lame! "Kargo-geezer" doesn't cut it either!

hahaha, I'm just picking. I'm 26 and going to be bald in another 2-3 years! I was just hoping I'd die of cholesterol poisoning first....that reminds me....someone pass the gravy.

My goal is to be the oldest ricer ever, so far I think I am teh winnar!
Seriously, though, I'm such a noob at imports, even though I've owned several.
*whacks cane on floor*
I come from the land of small-block Chevys, but i haven't owned one since 1983!
