Dear President Bush,

Dear President Bush:

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I
would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from
the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can
help with this.

I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas
and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my
way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

*1.* Free medical care for my entire family.
*2.* English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
*3.* All government forms need to be printed in English.
*4.* I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
*5.* Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
*6.* I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flagpole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
*7.* Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
*8.* I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access
to government services.
*9.* I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to
learn local traffic laws.
*10.* In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the
memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers
speak English.
*11.* I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my
car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
*12.* I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes,
and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
*13.* Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and
never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the
economy.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres.Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Sincerely,

Matt Mullis

^^
well, funny letter (i wrote & published the same sort of letter a while ago when the gas prices went through the roof here in germany)...

i can only argue as an outsider, but a part of the truth might be that those mexican immigrants were widely tolerated and integrated into the economic circuit in a way, that they could really say they have a "right to stay"...

on the other hand.. let there be no doubt that this specific kind of immigration will produce a pile of social and economical problems as well...

well i guess the inactivity of the lawgiving institutions in past catches up on you now...

personally after 9-11 we shouild've instigated a police state and started up the "detainment camps" for all arab peoples within the states. Our borders are on immediate lock down. No'one in, no'one out. All arabs are rounded up and only let out one at a time after a full background check. I'd say that wouldn't take more than...say...5 years.

While this is happening there should be NO need for any "alert system" or terrorism alert days.

p.s. this relates to mexicans as well. They are the most highly visable form of illegal insurgants here in the states.

Illegal = illegal. End of discussion.

Maybe when we get a new president, some of these things may be solved.

i live 30 miles from the nation's capital and there are plenty of day laborers and migrant workers to go around. i dont think washington is the correct people to write to in this situation...

Wanted to tell you guys earlier....but Pres. Bush flew into Maxwell this morning & all that hoopla that goes along w/him...it was kinda close-hold info...but now that he's come & gone...well...it's not so close held now. Here's some picky pics.

Phil, are you a spy?

Roddimus Prime April-19th-2006 05:17 PM

phil, if you had run up and punched him I would've given you everything I owned.

Matty, the not-so-undercover right winger... :yelrotflm

JDM-P5 April-19th-2006 07:55 PM

Krayzie - No, I'm a USAF enlisted member.

Matty - I did not want to get shot...multiple times...from multiple angles...from multiple shooters.

Macdaddy - NO KIDDING!!!

LOL....

I bet a nice gift to give the president would be a chocolate revolver. And since he's so busy you'd probably have to run up and hand it to him real fast while he's on the move in the open.
