chew on this

Hey all,

Since I am new to the whole club, I thought I would share one my major car stories with you guys.
Here it goes...
One of my cousins had co-signed for their friend to get a car and since their friend was a total ass he told them that he couldn't afford his 99 mazda protege. My cousin started going into debt trying to make the car payment along with two other cars and a house. I had just started looking for a car at the time and she came to me with the idea of me taking over payments for the car. At the time I was working part-time but could afford about $300 a month by myself and so i agreed. I started to pay her weekly to help her out and she wrote me receits. I kept all of them and one fine day their "friend" came back to get his car which he hadn't seen in 9 mths and was mad because he found out I was paying for the car and driving it. The truth is he signed over this car to my cousin so legally he had no rights but since he is such an ass he decided he would take this whole case to our local police department. The local police department told him to go take the car back. This guy has a criminal record that won't quit and he convinces the police department that he can take the car since his name is still on the title.(my cousin was working on getting his name off the title but he came too early to get it done). Well, meanwhile I had the car for like six months and had been paying for it by myself and had taken really good care of it. Well one friday morning I got up at five o'clock in the morning and my car was gone! There was shattered glass all over the ground and I had to go to work. I called my cousin freaking out and she said that she was gonna kick his A**! Her husband was so mad but he couldn't get off work to go to the police department. My cousin and I go looking around town for the car (we live in a small town) and did not find it. Well, we find out a week later that he wrecked the car and his pregnant girlfriend was in the car with him when he wrecked it. But I believe the baby is just fine-thank goodness. Well that left me with no car and basically no life. I had one month before I left for college and so I spent my last month before college frantically trying to find a car...nevertheless i found one that I love, a 01' marroon mazda protege and now here i am in protegeclub.com and love it. I know this story ends up whack but it's kinda funny now but it sure wasn't at the time.

Let me knowwhatcha think:)

girl, sounds like something off judge judy!

moral of the story: don't co-sign a loan unless it's for your own kids!

Whoa...some story. Just remember if you want something good that was owned by someone else make sure ALL paper work is in order, for no matter what your doing. Good thing the kid is alright though. Just be more careful, next time, and when in doubt document EVERYTHING!

Well,
I learned my lesson...
the real problem of the story lies in the fact that he trespassed on my property to steal the car back and because of his backward ways he had all of the policemen on his side and to top it all off the police wouldn't let me report it stolen or get him for trespassing! what's wrong with the law enforcement?

Now thats gay. I'd bring up some serious issues with that police dept.

Either way....here you are now....Mazdagirl, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

oh well

Well,
After all this mess went down...
my favorite saying was this

SHIT HAPPENS!

You should adopt this phrase as well, it really helps when things couldn't get any worse...
By the way, the guy was my ex-boyfriend!
