can a protege beat a stock gsr in 1/4mile

Is there anyway to increase the horsepower of the protege to the level of the integra gsr? I was thinking mazdaspeed intake and exhaust cam, header, cat-back. With those mods how much wheel horsepower will our car make and how much faster will it be. Anyone with those mods had their car dynoed?

how much hp (at the wheels) does a stock gsr have and what does it weigh?

what if I got the full j-spec conversion. Intake and exhaust cams, high cr pistons, intake manifold, remapped ecu , plus header and cat back exhaust. Wouldnt our cars be at the hp level of the integra with those parts? I know that the j-spec fs-ze makes 170 hp.

I hope you guys are racing for some money, cause you sound like you really want to lay some cash down in mods to beat this GSR...

just wondering if the protege have that potential with out going with force induction. Not planning to do any of those mods any time soon.

but don't forget that the J-spec reaches that peak horsepower with the help of that j-spec ECU.

You won't reach that hp mark with the stock ECU. Eeterp and UPSman has proven that.
