Bigger Avatars, more PM storage for everyone!
 

Just wanted to let everyone know that I bumped up the maximum size for avatars to 120 pixels wide by 150 tall, and 10K filesize. PM storage has been raised from 100 to 250. And finally I increased the profile image size to 640x800.

Sweet! I was just messin with my profile yesterday and had to supershrink all sorts of stuff. Any way to increase attachment limits? I always have to upload my images to ImageStation first cuz they're too big..

Attachments can already be pretty big, no size limit and 200K. How big do you want?

I dunno .. 1MB memory size would be sufficient for most cases I would say. My digi cam's ancient and only capable of 2 megapixels, and the pics it takes are 800KB or so.

1 mb per image huh, haha. How about you learn how to use an image editing program ;)

Nobody allows 1mb attachments, that would just be asking for problems.

Hey now .. I know how to shrink pictures. It's just that I don't like to haha.

And the "evil forum" aka Mazdas247 allows for 1.95MB attachments so that's where the idea came from. If we actually manage to get a lot of traffic onto this site, we gotta realize that a lot of it is gonna come from there .. and most people (such as myself) get spoiled quite fast by the ability to simply attach photos from their camera as opposed to shrinking or uploading to a website.

I'm not saying we need 2MB attachment limits, but 200K isn't exactly a lot. It's just an idea, so don't take it the wrong way. I can deal with having to shrink .. if it's the price I have to pay to hang out on an awesome forum, then so be it.

Alright, how about 500K? I just changed it to that ...
