Question Best and cheapest insurance for a Mazda3?

Just bought a 2012 Mazda3 from a friend

It's still sitting in my garage as I have yet to get the thing insured

I want the absolute cheapest coverage for this vehicle. I don't believe in giving money to insurance companies. I think it's basically throwing money down the drain.

Therefore, I just want the cheapest, minimum coverage.

Any ideas? I tried GEICO, Allstate, and Progressive already. Too rich for my blood.

State Farm is alright, but still, I'm looking for something a bit cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Update - the cheapest I was able to find was from a small company called 4 auto insurance quote.. they quoted me at $53/month for the mazda3, which so far, cannot be beat.

USAA also provided me with some AMAZING rates, but it looks like it will be hard to get approved by them, cause they required you to be military or from a military family. My father was an armed forces member (which qualifies me), but he's estranged and I'd rather not have his name on anything related to me, so I guess that's a no-go.

State Farm actually ended up being the cheapest "BIG" company I got quotes from, but still, much more expensive than 4aiq, so i think I might end up just using them.

Thumbs down

I believe we are being spamed. That link provide by op when filled out leads to insurance quotes ... with agents calling your house, if you choose a company ...more unwanted calls and still no estimate of insurance cost until to speak with a representative. I for one don't like this intrusiveness. I just want to see what my rates would be. your luck may very from my experience. Just an FYI

not sure why the pop up on the words underlined in blue. I just typed them to convey my experience didn't want to convey ads! Don't know if the site does this on Key Words.
