A friend from work and I are thinking of taking a long weekend and driving down to A.C. She's been there before, I haven't. Anyone know of good places to go, or good (cheap) hotels? Thanks!! :)

Why spend money in Atlantic City when you can goto your city dump for free? Just as nice and cheaper.

Heh well on the good part, if you're over 21, you can be in the sincity of the East Coast. Gambling abroad and being on the beach. Although it's getting kind of cold...you still have some nice pier amusement parks a la Coney(sp?) Island.

I don't know much about the place, alas I've only been once.

i don't know too much bout AC cause i hate gamblin but just look for the nice sewer pipes going directly into the ocean...mmmm mmmm makes me wanna swim....goooo jersey!

I don't know if your a high-roller or not but, Claridge is probably the least expensive casino in terms of minimum bet. It's nice because I don't loose my money quite as fast :bt: Tahj Mahal has a dance club. Showboat has an older crowd. I'd stay away from the nearby neighborhoods; shady. One thing I did enjoy is whipping up on the little kids on the go-karts on the pier!

*Even if you break even, the tolls + gas money will still set you back. :doh:
