Any GCN wanna play an online RPG with me?
I was thinking about starting up another round of Phantasy Star Online for GCN. This will be my 6th time to play this game on 3 different consoles. I love it, very fun and when played online very addictive. It's not like Everquest or anything more of a level-based action game where your team moves through this story.
I just re-bought the game "Phantasy Star 1&2 PLUS" from Toys-R-Us for $20 on sale and it's worth every penny. Even if you want to play offline I'd suggest it. Anywho....any up for playing? I think it's like $8-9 a month for unlimited time and I usualy play every night if anyone wants to join me. Let me know. Mat-tah |
I love games. But I also have a problem, once I find a game I like I can't stop playing. It's like an addiction, and I can't get anything else done.
|
thats why I dont put it in until about an hour or so before bed....i usually play for an hour or so a night.
I think the best version is the xbox version since you can use live voice chat but the gcn version is no slouch either. |
Hmmm.... sound kinda fun. Haven't seen any GCN network adapters for a while though. Do they still sell those things?
|
oh yeah, they are all over the place...wal-mart, eb, gamestop, etc. If you wanna play and can't find either the game or adapter let me know and I'll pick them up for you here and ship them your way.

Cool, I might have to pick that up. Gotta wait till Friday though, I'm a little broke right now.

understood. The great thing about playing the game online is you can play with someone of a much higher level who can take you to the harder levels and babysit you while you "power level" Also, all of the cool secret weapons and items are found online.
Sega likes to use the internal clock a lot also so if you're playing on christmas or halloween or anything the towns will be different. I actually logeed on one day and my shop keeper was Sonic. Pretty cool stuff. |
