I finally have an office! OH yes! I can CLOSE THE DOOR if I want to...which I'm doing right because at lunchtime it is darn noisy around here.


It really is the little things in life that keep me going :yelrotflm

That's gotta kick ass ... I still have a cubicle, so I have to minimize my screens all the time cuz you never know who's gonna come walking up.

I <3 my office.
Even though I nearly always keep my door open so I can hear what's going on, it's removed enough that I can play cd's or listen to Virgin Radio Extreme online and drown out the crap everyone else has to listen to!
Plus, it's MY space.
Gotta love it.

If i had an office, i would have the computer monitor facing away from the day so people cant...

I call my bathroom my office. It has my Nintendo DS, magazine rack, and small desk (for mail order shopping)

I'm having a small 13" monitor mounted in the wall and moving my Gamecube in there as well as soon as the Revolution comes out.


p.s. GArys office is funny. Whenever I call and ask to speak with him they always say...."uh....and who is this?'......"This is Matt from WOMP Racing"....."uh.....and what is this about?"....."JUST PUT HIM ON THE PHONE!!"

Well...I was unpacking my boxes and getting everything situated and found out that my mouse pad is missing :( It has sentimental value...

Also, the Office Services/Facilities team were SUPPOSED to move me, but never showed up so I did it all by myself. Plus, I had to move my own furniture around :mad:

That's not womans work.....you shoulda MADE them move you so you could spend more time in the kitchen!

Actually, my office butts up to the back of the kitchen here at work. We have one of those under-the-counter ice machines and people go in there all day long and BANG BANG BANG on the ice. I've found that one or two smacks with the scoop is generally sufficient to get enough ice for a cup o' whatever, but these people sound like they are MURDERING THE ICE whenever they are in there :rant:


Still haven't recovered the aforementioned mouse pad...I had to bust out with the all-purpose one from Dell :eek:

thats hillarous. I wanna come and visit you at work sometime. Everytime someone goes to get ice I'm gonna run in and yell " ICE FIGHT!!!" and start throwing it at them.

Perhaps it's the stressfull working environment we have around here... *yawns*
