Site looks great. I think the muted color (colour!) scheme is fine. Bright colors get distracting.
Every time I see a pic of Phantom's car my eyes burn for an hour!

are you implementing the same thing onto like MY three main mazda boards

(RX7club.com, Protegeclub.com, and RX8Club.com)

cuz i noticed RX-8 was already liek this, but RX7club just changed to the exact same styling....

also you gotta change our picture up top, cuz it has an RX-8 banner on it, saying RX-8Club

otherwise i've gotten used to it completely, and the three main boards that i goto are now all the exact same design, which is really cool

Yea, that's the idea. Try to tie the 3 sites together into a Mazda community, give them all the same look, so users feel more comfortable going back and forth between them.

pretty cool really, i like the idea, and it definately makes my life easier....except for when i'm confused with which board i am in
