98 Regal/Automatic
 

well, i finally got to drive my moms 1998 Buick Regal GS again, this thing packs the 3600series V6 under the hood with the supercharger putting out like 240hp at the wheels.... and of course in true buick fashion it has a automatic tranny. well its been since july of 2000 i believe since ive drivin a automatic other than moving cars from one side of the driveway to the other.... needless to say it feels really funky! no downshifting feels wierd going around the corners and just general manual shifting thinking...... so it does go, but sure doesnt seem to go as quick as my p5, even though it actually does.... too cushy i guess :D so i dont know, but they call automatic transmissions a convienince factor.... id call a manual more convienient.... hell atleast i know where my neutral, reverse and drive gears are easily with out looking down on a manual.... i dunno

well i really dont like autos. On most cars. but you dont have to look down. most are P R N D ........ to begin with. (Well every one i have drove has been.)and then whatever. D maybe overdrive or whatever still going forward.:p

yeah all the automatics that ive driven are like that too... its just how they are placed, not as easy to get there as in a manual, since they are right behind eachother or next to eachother on an auto making it a pain

but hey im not dissing autos.... its just i dont feel comfortable driving them....
