90 Talon AWD

Well I finally found a 1st Gen DSM in good shape for a good price. 103k miles pulls hard and shifts smooth. Exterior and interior are good except for the drivers seat alittle scuffed up. I'll post some pics of my two cars together. =]

Congratulations!!! That's an awesome car, with LOADS of potentional. (I had a '95 Talon AWD) I'm sure that you've seen it already, but head over to http://www.dsm.org . Be sure to read that site COMPLETELY at least three times!!!

Yeah, those are a lot of fun. I've driven my friend Mike Croutcher's '91 AWD Talon DSS project car , in 350+hp form. Lotta fun. It's run 12.17 in the 1/4 the one time he ran it (at the SCC Ultimate Street Car for 2000). Also won the LA Pro Solo in Street Mod in 2000, on Yoko A032 tires.

As soon as he gets back from X-mas, he'll be doing my coil-overs.

Yes, he's an awesome driver, just a little hard on equipment. It was his first Pro Solo, although the course had elements ideally suited to his car.

As to my Protege, he is adapting a set of his DSM coil-overs to my struts. He's also going to corner-weight the car, and it may receive camber plates as well.

Just make sure to get some mileage on the Falkens before you really need them. They are slippery when brand new. Gotta wear off the mold release (or whatever it is that makes them so slick).
