[Tutorial] How to clean your car using common household items

Washing your automobile is important not just for keeping it clean, but also for protecting it and preventing future wear and tear. You will need the proper tool for these, as well as knowledge of other vital things to know while washing your automobile. Here are some recommendations on how to use basic home things such as a cleaning solution.

Step 1: Clean the car's exterior.
You'll need a bucket for this stage. I'm sure you can find one around the house. A sponge would also be required. Use a fresh sponge on your automobile rather than the one you already used to wash the dishes.

Using your bucket, thoroughly rinse the exterior of your vehicle. This will dampen the dried-up dirt and particles. Scrub the outside of your automobile gently using the soft sponge to avoid scratching it. The more throughout you do it, the easier your next steps will be.

Step 2: Prepare a combination
Nothing complex, and the components are readily available. This stage requires only a cup of baking soda and a gallon of boiling water.

This solution is for cleaning salt and dirt from your automobile. Yes, they can be removed without the use of chemicals. You shouldn’t experiment with any other chemical around the house that you believe would assist you in removing grimes. You may injure yourself as well as the paint on your automobile if you do so. So, the safest choice is to use hot water - baking soda solution.

Step 3: Clean your automobile.
You'd need a strong brush, buckets, some soap, a sponge, and some water. Vegetable oil should be the base of your soap. Shampoo is also suitable for this purpose. You may also try baby shampoos, which are soft and will not affect your car's paint.

2 teaspoons of shampoo mix in 7.6 L (2 gallons) of water. Scrub your automobile with a sponge. You want to be delicate when doing this since there may be remaining debris after you initially rinsed the exterior of your automobile. The brush with firm bristles is for cleaning the wheels and tires.

Step 4: Rinse the outside of your automobile.
You'll need vinegar, water and a spray bottle for this stage. But first, use a bucket to completely clean your automobile of the residue soaps.

Second, using a spray bottle, mix vinegar and water in a 3:1 ratio. With the use of a newspaper, spray it over the exterior of your automobile and expect it to dry without any streaks.
