Okay,

I got the whole day off work at both of my work places, and I'm definetely going to the show. Who's all coming then? Bigwoofer is coming from Victoria in the morning around 11am. I'll be up early in the morning, so whenever someone wants to meet, let me know.

PS. 1FatEs, is your car okay now?

Our legal drinking age here is 19
You get tons more 'bang for the buck' once you convert your Yankee money to ours
50 km/h is the speed limit almost everywhere in the city here

just some heads up ;)

Lately it's been about 20-25 degrees Celcius which works out to 68-77 degree Fahrenheit (sp?)... it's also been sunny, but as a warning - I COULD RAIN AT ANY TIME in Vancouver - our weather is really unpredictable...

bud is technically ILLEGAL, just that you can get it really easily and smoke it pretty much anywhere... hahahha!

don't spend too much time in Richmond (the municipality south of Vancouver). street racing has been a big issue with the police there lately, and they're pretty touchy when it comes to suped up cars...

umm... i think that's about it... we've got beaches for partying, buncha clubs downtown, a couple of gentlemen's clubs and a bunch of other stuff too... if you wanna check out some racing while you're up here, the Vancouver Car & Motorsport Club is having a closed event on the 21st, check out http://www.vcmc.ca/main.html for info. If you want one wicked road to drive on, take HWY99 up to Whistler... that's always been my favourite drive in BC cuz it's fast, it twists/winds, you've got the rock face on one side and water on the other... it's pretty fun!

First of all, can you send me a brochure? :D Also, hey I'm a gentleman. I guess these gentlemen's clubs are a place for you to sit down, and sip on some scotch while conversing with other gentlemen on current events? Maybe about what kind of mods to put on your Protege?

:)

riiiight.... yup... then you have all these women that sit in your lap for no reason at all...... one of those ;)

hehehe, oh yeah, if you get caught with :smoke: here in Vancouver, as long as it's less then a certain amount, they won't charge you or bother you..... I think it works out to 40$ worth nowofdays.

As far as weather, Chumpman said it very well, it's been pretty hot lately... beach-type weather but here it can start raining ANY time....

I suggest bringing one set of clothes for the beach, one casual and one for a club plus a very light jacket for rain, just in case.

Whoever responds here, check your PrivateMessages.

Makaveli July-15th-2002 12:46 PM

Go to the corner of Broadway and Granville and ask for 'Mikey'.... he'll take care of the money ;)

Lol, just kidding.....

If you go down Hastings street all the way down to downtown then turn right on Howe and go to Canada Place, they will have currency places there For Sure.

Chumpman July-15th-2002 09:56 PM

there's a Thomas Cook Foreign Exchange in the north part of Pacific Center... just look up 777 Dunsmuir on any of the map engines and there'll be on in there...
