Summer New England Meet (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI) proposition!
 

Hey, guys. I deleted the other poll, a) it had wrong dates, b) I should have been a bit more clear. Anyhow. I think having a meet in Foxboro during Mazda's Rev It Up Challenge should bring out more people from New England. Kent, CT was really far for some of them, therefore Foxboro should not scare them away. There are going to be many other Mazda people (hopefully with Proteges), so it could be a good turn out. Also, I do not think that we would be able to have a bbq, because we would need to bring our own grills. Unless some one is willing to do that, I think it should be just a car meet, even though food is nice :D. Anyhow, vote on the date, either Saturday or Sunday, and please let me know if you would like to have a sign-up page, like the one I made for Kent Meet. Thanks.

hmmmmm well i dont want to lose the guys from NJ, but it does sound like fun. we can always just all meet up at like a wendys, and eat. lol what dates are we talking bout here??

I think we are going to lose some guys from CT, NY and NJ, because it is a HUGE drive for them to Boston, though I think this meet should bring out more people from MA, ME, NH, RI, and VT. Other then you, me, and Gavin, I do not remember seeing any other cars other than from CT, and NY. Plus, NJ people are working on a meet of thier own, so as long as people show up, a meet is a meet.

Foxboro is about 30 miles south-west of Boston. Its where the New England Patriots and Revolution are playing - the Gillette Stadium. But you do not need to drive to Boston, because its right off of I-95, so it is easy to get to.

So, is anyone from New England and Northeast want to come at all? I know there are more people from these areas here, so why not have a meet?

i'll be there all day sat. for rev it up. i can come by sunday too. i live about 20 mins from the stadium. i'm lookin forward to meeting some other p5 owners. joe

That is a ways from now, but I would love to go. That weekend I have a big wedding on Saturday. Sunday would be the day I can make it. I am not sure about everyone else though.

Just wanted to let you guys know. Maybe we can plan a get-together before then for people close by. I know there are a bunch of people in Mass on this forum.
