A northeast specific club?

I know it's been really successful with my Neon, so I figured why don't you guys set up an official Northeast club? North East Neon Association is about 60 members strong, and I'm sure you Protege/Mp3/P5 folks could do the same. I'd be happy to help you guys along, since I have experience setting up and running a club (www.northeastneons.org), just drop some notes here, and just as a preliminary we could set up a site through something free, for the time being, for member directory, info, meetings, etc.

sure we can do that. I don't know how it'll work but it might be fun.

Will build it soon, but at least the club has a start ;-)

BTW, PANE = Protege Association of the North East. I thought that worked.

Yeah, I've been a/xing for 2 seasons now. I hate the club in Bristol (CART). I ususally race with FCSCC in CT and NESCC and NER-SCCA in Mass.

Sounds good to me. I've also been part of the startup of a local club, the Saturn Performance Owners Club of New England SPOC NE, and it has been going well. The website is www.spocne.org just to get some ideas of what we have done. I still own my Saturn and am very active in the club. It is becoming a nice little autocross/track car.

Me too. I've run in a few NESCC and NER-SCCA events at Devens. I've also been very active with Boston BMWCCA and Mass Miata, both clubs run awesome autocross series. I don't recognize your Neon, but that doesn't mean I haven't seen you. I have the green Saturn SL-2 for reference. Maybe I'll see you at some events this coming season.

Cool!! I was running in STS the last two seasons, but after a few mods over the winter I will be running in DSP this coming season, hopefully with race tires...
