I'm from Danbury, CT.. I have a 2000 Mazda Protege DX.

I went to the MAPP II meet so look for my picture there "David's 2000 Dx"..

if I drove 325 miles to go there you know I don't mind driving across CT to meet somebody hehe.

clear corners, 16" kosei lauffer rims, 4" number one exhaust

I like the Protege in that green, nice rims too. Have you found that your car is hard to keep clean. I had a miata that colour and evey time I washed the car I had to wax the thing to make it look clean. But I love the looks of a dark green car.

I don't know if you'd like to do this or not but there is an autocross club in Bristol, CT. thats not to far from you what 40 min to an hour. We're done for this year but in the spring we start up again, maybe April. If want more info go to.

there are some pics and movies

I'd be interested in that carct autocross club thing, only prob is.. from the last time I looked at the web page.. what do they mean by no multi-lug rims, and is a 4" straight through exhaust ok for there? (it's not THAT loud)

my green is easy to keep clean (but I haven't maintained the way it looks too well for a good 6 months now due to work..).. but it accumulates a huge amount of scratches from DUMB parking lot incidents when I'm not around.. car also gets alot of dings, poor car :(

I'm not sure what that multi-lug rims means. As for the noise your car makes, if it's over thier limit you would need to drive with ear plugs

pro5girlie October-16th-2001 11:56 AM

I'm here! I live in Manchester. David, where are you in CT?

David October-17th-2001 07:30 AM

You made it I talked to on the prowners site before it crashed. I'm in East Hartford. Hows the P5 , and did your boy friend get his Focus fixed. he most have by now.

pro5girlie October-17th-2001 10:32 AM

Ok, I think I remember you now. Yeah, the focus is fixed. The paint job on the hood and door suck. Lots of swirls if you look at it in the sun. :( Still runs good though. His nephew has a malibu blue street edition wagon now, so there are tons of wagons in the family now. :D
