Hiboost Turbo System and their BAD customer service
 
I contacted Juan in JANUARY asking for prices on a 1.6L turbo manifold and downpipe for a Garrett T25, which he promptly replied they were $375 and $150 respectively. I emailed him again asking if the parts would be in stock by 2/15 and I would place an order then, to which he replied " No problem, I'll make sure they are ready by 2/15".

I placed my order on 2/15, promptly paid and gave him my credit card info. The money came out on 2/22. By 2/28 I had received no communication and no parts, so I contacted him and he told me the parts would be shipped and should be to me in 4-5 days...2-3 days later he told me that his guys told him about the wrong order and that my parts werent ready yet. After this point it became VERY difficult to contact him. He said he was overseas and the phone was giving him trouble

I contacted him again on 3/7, and he replied that he mostly deals in IHI turbo's and the manifold was ready , but the downpipe was being made still.Said he will ship out 2nd day air at his cost...A week later no contact, so I called him. He said to call him back in 2 hours and he would provide me with tracking info. I called back 2 hours later, no answer. No answer the remainder of the day.

I called Juan again the following day and he picks up and says the parts will be shipped friday and should be to me the following thursday via ground(what happened to second day air??) thursday comes, nothing. Call Juan again, he picks up no problem...says to call him back and he will provide tracking info. Called back and OF COURSE, no answer the remainder of the day. I shoot him an email saying I was beginning to get concerned, he responds, sounding offended, saying he would never take my money and not get me my parts, but still has no tracking info, but assures me it will be delivered be the following wednesday(4/5) at the latest. I email him back and AGAIN request tracking information. NO response. Wednesday comes and of course no parts. I call him and he picks up on the first call, no problem. Says to call him in an hour and he will have tracking info. I call back, and what do you know, he doesnt pick up his phone the rst of the day. So at this point, I'm pissed, I leave him a message stating I want a refund if he cannot provide me with tracking info, I email him the same thing and PM him on here(since it seems he can log in and brag about his brothers quarter mile runs, but not take care of actual business transactions), still no response. I call him AGAIN today, and what do you know, his phone works the first time I call, I demand tracking info, he says let me get it, then the phone goes dead, and what do you know I call back and no response.

At this point I will have to contact my bank and dispute the transaction to get my money back, As I am getting nothing but bullshit from Juan at Hiboost.

Damn, that is really, really bad news about a vendor who has to this point a pretty good rep for not only quality product but service as well.

sorry Mike. I bought my Haltech from Juan and had similar issues but everything DID arrive and the quality was great. I just got the same runaround on shipping you did.
