Is this a scam?
 
Well I read about a scam on the other Mazda club site that sounded like this message I just got on my ad on Cars.Com. Is this a scam or what?

buying for my client who has placed an order for this particular
brand,i will like to state my self clearlly before making payment.
do you accept (US Bank Check)? will you be able to send the
overage fund on check back to the shipping company after you must have
cash the check? please get back to me with your contact name and address,
phone and i will inform my client to forward you check for the car via
US mail then you will have to wire the excess fund back to the shipping
company through western union money transfer same day you cash the check.
You can as well contant me with any question ok

scam - sounds like the one I got for when i was trying to sell my car. we will pay you $16000 for you car, you refund us the $4000 difference - blah blah blah.. got 3 differenct emails trying this scam, sent them on the the fraud department of autotrader.com - came from dealerleads@autotrader.com

This was after emailing the back and saying... "yah.. sounds like a scam to me" ;)

Yeah, I go on eBay a lot and get that crap all the time, just send an e-mail back with the word scam anywhere in it and you wont hear from them again!

yep.. it's just wierd, tried selling my van, got an email like that, then was selling my blue car... got another email very similar - it's bad, people actually fall for the crap! you end up giving them your vehicle and a couple of thousand bucks to boot!
