The car has about 40,200 miles on it, mostly driven by my wife. It has a 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper extended warranty that can be transferred for $40. It's really been pampered and is in great shape. I've done the oil changes every 5000 miles, the tires are OK, they probably have 7500-10000 miles left. Located in Gainesville, FL. I'm asking $10,750 OBO and much of the extra stuff is negotiable if you don't want it as is. If it doesn't sell we'll be trading it in, but the only thing I can really part out is the springs and exhaust. Holes have to be drilled for every piece of the body kit, and they would be very visible if it was gone. The stereo and DVD will also come out, but I'll probably have to leave the monitors since they're in the headrests.

Jackelope, I don't want to rush you, but we're looking at signing a deal on our new car on Thursday. If you're serious, let me know ASAP and I'll do whatever I can to make the deal happen. I'd much rather see the whole car go as is to someone who will really appreciate it.

I think we're gonna hold out for a few more days before trading the car in, probably early next week, so if anyone is interested there should still be a little time. Let me know soon though, I plan on listing the car locally over the weekend.

What color are the head rest, can't you just slide them out? If the price is right I would might ship mine to you in trade and cash. Then I just have to get the player. My kid whats one bad!

The headrests are black. I'm going to see what happens over the weekend with the car, but I might be willing to do that if you want. If we did that, I'd sell you the player as well if you wanted it.

Info and price have been updated. We decided not to trade the car in, the deal wound up going a bit sour, so I figured I'll keep the Protege and try to sell it privately. If it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it for myself, but I really don't want the extra payment as my truck is already paid off and we now have a slightly higher payment on the wife's new car.

All right guys, let's hear some offers. On Thursday I found out that my job might be ending in the next two weeks or so, then on Friday I found out that after 6 months of trying, we're going to have another baby!! As happy as I am about that, the timing really sucks! Anyway, I would really like to get this sold now, so I'm willing to listen to all REASONABLE offers. This car has never been beat on or raced, or in any sort of accident. It's been used as a family hauler since the day it was bought new, I just can't stand having a stock car, regardless of what it's used for.

That's the OEM Mazda body kit. Mazdastuff.com usually has the best prices on it.
