94 Protege LX, 5sp, Grey, in CT
 

Hey guys I am selling my 94 Mazda Protege LX. It is fully loaded, power w/d/l sunroof. 1.8l DOHC motor, DX transmission/clutch (longer gears). Clutch is brand new btw, only about 1,000-2,000 miles. Tranny has around 100k on it. The motor/body have 208k mi. on them. I have all service records to show this car was regularly maintained.

This car runs fine, starts right up every time, I have been using for quick trips to and from work and also a couple long trips with zero problems. Interior is in good/very good condition and exterior is good, just a little clear coat failure on the hood/roof and some minor rust repair around one fender.

And, thanks to the DX tranny, this car cruises at 80MPH at a quiet 3,000RPM in 5th gear, what more could you want;)

I'll even throw in the stereo with the car (JVC cd/mp3 player, stock speakers, 300w amp pushing 2 12's in the trunk)

This protege did not come with alloys, I am not sure if any 1st gen LX's did.

The DX tranny is what I had so that is what I used.

Car is located 3 miles south of Hartford, Connecticut.

Nope nothing wrong with it. The head unit is very picky with cds; it skips intermitently for some reason, and there is a rear speaker missing, but that's the stereo not the car itself:). The car runs good and will have no problem making it to Maine.

now about the body, is the body beat to hell, or pretty good shape?? cant really tell from the pics, also would you be able to meet my brother somewhere to take a look at the car, he lives in waterbury ct? im very interested in this, and need spare car.

The body looks good in my opinion. The only problems are shown in those pics (the minor rust repair around the fender and the fading on the hood near the headlights). I am willing to meet up to show the car. I live right near Harford and I am available on weekday afternoon/evenings and weekends.

I would say 600 max, You have a 200k car with a dx tranny trashed body and in shitty condition
