91 LX pristine parts car
 

Ok, so this is my first post. Unfortunatly it is about the loss of my 91 LX. The transmission is now useless and im not spending the money to put a new one in. Whats wrong with it is that the transmission slips horribly and sometimes doesnt engage at all. That being said, the rest of the car is in entirely pristine condition. everything about the car works like it was brand new. It has 135000 on it and starts with no trouble everytime. It has not been modified at all. I'm asking 800 for it, or if i get enough requests for parts, i will part it out. I live close to chicago. any questions? email me at cianide@softhome.net

Sooo, its a 5spd??? Sounds like you just need a new clutch - which isn't too xpensive....why not fix it and hang onto the car? ;)

actually its auto. one of the reasons im willing to part with it.

how much for the whole engine?

hmm.. looks good and i havn't been in chicago in a while... do you have any special enhencement on your car?

no enhancements. i have a filter for it. (cone style). and a bunch of blue lights that used to be in it. The speakers are aftermarket but i blew out the back left 5 1/4' jbl.

I live right over in DeKalb and I would be interested in parts. Give me some info. What color is it? You might have some luck on parting the whole thing.

good and bad news. the car is now in the tranny shop, my rents decided to fix it after all, and are now selling it as a complete car.
