Hey everyone. Im new to the forums, but if you have any doubts, I've been a member of mazda3forums.com for a couple years now, with several transactions. I am selling my 2006 mazda 3 grand touring sedan. I am selling to pay for college. No accidents. It has approx. 23,000 miles-All Highway. The car runs perfectly and drives just like it did out of the show room. It has been garage kept when not in use. I am a serious car-guy, so the car has been waxed and polished at least once a month, if not twice. The car is in excellent condition. It has every option except navigation. Interior looks brand new-not a single mark or scratch. I have added a Fujita Cold Air intake, but have not touched any of the critical engine components or done any major modding. I did add the OEM Mazda LED tail lights, replaced interior bulbs with white LED's, and added some sound deadening in the doors and trunk. The car rides incredibly quiet, and the bose speakers sound even better with the extra sound insulation. I have all the original sale papers and dealer service papers. I only serviced the car at the mazda dealer. NON SMOKER. I replaced the tires 2500-3000 miles ago with Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S-the best-rated All/season performance tire for this car, so tread is great. I added OEM mazda sirius satellite radio that plays through the stock headunit/stereo. I also added mazda 3 aluminum pedals. The car really has to be seen in person-it is beautiful, especially with the minor modifications. I have plenty of pictures if you are interested, so please dont hesitate to ask or make an offer. I have put almost 2 grand into the car with some other modifications as well, so please make reasonable offers. Thanks so much!

15,800 OBO. All offers welcome!

Come on-I understand the economy is pretty bad now, but there has to be some interest...the car is priced right, is in great condition as you can see from the photos.
Im accepting any offers and will answer any questions! Please dont hesitate to ask!:)

dont take this the wrong way...

1. no one is on this forum...
2. nobody in their right mind would pay 17000 for a (now) 3 year old used car with 2x,xxx miles on it. ESPECIALLY a Mazda 3.

you can get a 2009 '3 with everything but the Bose system for 18,000 here.

dont get me wrong... i love my 3... i'd drop it to around 12k. (i also wouldnt sell mine for the world though :))

Hey. Thanks for your help, Its definitely tough to sell cars now! I've since dropped it to 15,800. With 2k in mods and perfect condition, I cant really drop the price much futher now. 12k is below even trade in value for my car which is 13,250-.that is what my local dealer offered me and isnt a good figure to use. I think your selling this car short. Mazda 3's hold their value relatively well and even though the economy is pretty bad now, My car will not be taking a 10 grand hit in 20,000 miles of driving in perfect condition-

It's going to be tough. The new 09's are priced close to that. I had dealers offer me 09 Mazda 3 s GT with spoiler and Nav for less than $19,999. I had to sell my 04 RX8 GT for $12,400 and I had $6,000 in mods on it. Eventually, I sold the mods for $1,800 and the car for the 12,4 but it took two months. Go to craigslist.com and compare what people are selling them for. You can check out KBB and Edmunds.com to get an idea, then lower that by 2 -3 grand and that will be close to what it will go for.
