1990 Protege LX, 5sp, 185k, $600- Long Island
 

Well, the time has come to move on. I'm selling my Protege. :(

It runs great...engine, tranny, suspension are all great. Except it will need a new front axle sometime soon, and the rt rear wheel bearing is noisy. Also, it needs an A/c evaporator.

The car's a 5-speed LX, with the 16v motor still running strong at 185k. It has new rear exhaust (but headers leak), tune up w/spark plugs, wires, PCV valve, air filter, timing belt, and rear shocks. The head gasket and water pump was done at about 140k.

Oh, and it has new tires on mint condition stock Miata wheels.

It looks okay (interior mint) and runs really strong. I really love the car, but after 4 years, I got another car and it's time to move on. This would make a great auto-x beater, or reliable/fun commuter. I would highly prefer to sell this car to a good home that will care for it and enjoy it like it deserves. However, I've already been contacted by several people who are very interested in making a quick purchase.
