Twin charging?

anyone ever heard of twin charging mazdas? turbo and supercharger

MazMan September-25th-2007 08:39 AM

nope never heard of it and i dont think that theres enough room in them to do it but that would be nice though if we could.

ya it would be nice.....i dont think you would notice the turbo lag as much because of the superchargers instant power....then it would be more power all together....................i bet it could be done, maybe just a lot of money later

hmm.... I actually know someone who has something very similar to this on his mazda... I was hoping to be finished with the project by now but lack of funds on Scott's part kept me from buying the last of the stuff I needed to finish the SC.

I was working on a roots blower for the intake manifold to bolt onto a MSP. I've got the manifold and adapter plates finished. I jest need the car, a fresh head unit and about 3 months.

ya it would be really cool if someone did do it, it would cost a lot of money and im sure if somebody was going to spend the money then they would just go twin turbo. but it would be unique for twin charging a 3

I read a article a while back about a VW diesel with a twin charger setup turbo and supercharger I think it said 2009 model year. But it didnt mention putting it on a gasoline motor.
