I bought a used 2010 Mazda 3 and I’ve only had it for 4 months. I bought if 98,000 miles because I know Mazda’s tend to be good cars.

The problem I am having is my AT light and check engine will come on and then it gets stuck in 3rd gear. Now it doesn’t automatically do that as soon as you turn on the car. Once you have driven it 3 or 4 miles that’s when it starts to happen. Sometimes it’ll take a little longer to happen. Well I took it Coleman Taylor Transmissions and the diagnostic was that it was a shift solenoid. They replaced it and changed the atf. Told me they’ve fixed it. When I go and get my car. It happens again. They believe it has something to do with a wire but i think they really don’t know what’s wrong. Anybody help please. I need answers. They have kept my car for weeks and I really need it back.

Also, I have an automatic transmission. And it jerks real hard when everything starts happening.
